Interreg CENTRAL EUROPE is an EU funding programme that encourages cooperation beyond borders. With a budget of 43m EUR for energy projects, we support public and private organisations to work together on lower carbon emissions regions and cities. Our transnational projects thus help to reach key targets of the European Green Deal in central Europe.

Our support
We fund transnational projects that bring together professionals across central Europe to work on shared energy challenges. Our programme is for energy-related cooperation what yeast is for baking: we are the tiny but important ingredient that lets ideas for a low carbon central Europe grow into jointly developed, tested and accepted solutions.
One of our project, FIRECE, dealing with innovative financial mechanisms for energy efficiency measures designed especially for SMEs asks you to share with them your opinion about four concepts of innovative financial mechanisms they have introduced.
